Who want's to be an Architect?

on Wed Aug 30, 2017 1:41 pm
We would like to know who wants to be an Architect. We also want to hear what you are doing to get there.....

[Since I am one of them I am always interested in helping others out on the way to Licensure.]

See the attached link to a picture of a vase that a famous architect designed.

Who is the Architect?
Whoever posts who the Architect is first get a prize*  affraid

*The only condition is that you need to post your response about if you want to be an Architect, etc.

Thanks!

Who want's to be an Architect?

I plan on becoming an architect. In the past I was enrolled with NCARB and started taking some ARE exams, but to my loss I let the clock run out and will have to start over. Though during the exam prep process I was involved with a study group of my peers which helped bring a better understanding to the current topic of study. Currently I am in the process of getting my NCARB registration current.

My guess to the architect that designed the vase is, Alvar Aalto.

I hope to pass the CSE and become an architect. I took it recently (September 2nd) and was a few percent off of passing. I was luckily able to pass all of the AREs on my first try. I can definitely post what I studied or tell people what I studied if anyone wants to know. Best study options are Jenny's Notes (arendurance), Caroline's Notes, Kaplan and Ballast books. If you want to study with a group for the various tests there are classes and group studies at USC called NotLY. (and they are free) Those are a great help.
